I create customized flyers to support product launches, promotions, and sales initiatives across the field. Using Canva and Adobe Acrobat, I design materials that align with Gates brand standards and are approved by our marketing team.
These flyers are often regionally tailored for specific accounts, with customer branding and targeted messaging. I also create broader templates and campaigns that have been used nationally to support key product lines and programs.
“To the Moon” National Flyer
I recreated a flyer based on the original marketing from the early 2000s launch of Gates FleetRunner belts, which centered around the idea that these belts could "go to the moon" based on how many miles they lasted. I pitched the redesign, created the updated version myself, and had it approved as a national flyer by our Global Content Studio.
I wrote and designed a technical white page article using the approved Gates white page format. The content focused on hydraulic hose sizing, and was published in Machine Design and Power & Motion. It was also distributed across Gates North America and Gates Australia as part of a broader educational and promotional effort. The piece combined clear, practical writing with clean visual layout to support both field and product teams.
I designed this Gates Hydraulics product line flyer to showcase key hose and crimper options for the heavy-duty and fleet markets, including wetline-specific solutions. The layout is clean, visual, and focused on quick product comparison to help inside sales teams, counter staff, and end users quickly identify the right hose for the job.
This flyer was created to solve a major point of confusion in the field—transitioning from swaging R14 Teflon hose to crimping. At the time, there was no clear guidance available, and many field teams and customers were unsure how to make the switch.
I designed this flyer as a quick-reference guide to simplify the process. It became the only resource available in the field for a period of time and was used extensively by Gates sales teams and customers across the country. The flyer clearly outlines product options, equipment compatibility, and application fit, giving frontline teams the confidence to make the change.
Even after an official video was released, this flyer has continued to be a heavily relied-on resource because of its clear layout and practical, real-world focus.
