Who I am professionally
I'm a business development and technical training professional with over 10 years of experience in the fluid power and heavy-duty aftermarket. I work closely with both sales and product teams to help simplify complex systems and support growth through training, tools, and field-based application support.
I've created industry-first tools like eFitting.net and eHose.net to help sales teams and customers identify hydraulic couplings and hoses more easily. Gates added eFitting to their eCrimp app after field testing and internal collaboration. I also built the first hydraulic planogram tool to help jobbers organize and stock hose and coupling inventory.
In addition to tools, I created and teach a 4- to 5-hour hose and coupling training class called "Get Confident." It's taught live, in person, and covers coupling ID, hose construction, cutting, and crimping. It's hands-on, simplified, and designed for real-world understanding.
I also write technical articles, build field-ready content like sales flyers and training presentations, and help support new product rollouts. My work has been featured in Machine Design, Power & Motion, and internal Gates newsletters.
This site is a simple way to show some of the work I’ve done—tools, training, writing, and projects that support the fluid power industry.
Who I am personally
I was born and raised in central Texas (Goldthwaite) where I graduated in 2005. I worked my way through college and graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Agribusiness Management in 2010. I moved to the DFW area shortly after where I started my career and family. I enjoy restoring tractor engines and working on my 7.3 Power Stroke. I also spend time outdoors with my family and enjoy ultralight backpack camping when I can get off the grid.
