National Technical Sales Leader | Hydraulic Systems & Applications
Who I am professionally
I’m a national technical sales leader in hydraulic systems with over a decade of experience in fluid power and heavy-duty markets. I manage a $64M national hydraulic account portfolio and focus on growing strategic accounts through application-driven selling and disciplined execution.
My work centers on helping distribution teams and end users make better hydraulic decisions. I simplify complex application requirements, improve field execution, and build practical systems that support long-term growth.
I work closely with product management, application engineers, and field sales teams to support new product rollouts, strengthen adoption, and align real-world application needs with company strategy. My role sits at the intersection of technical problem solving and commercial growth.
Over the years, I’ve built practical tools that support the hydraulic sales process. I developed eFitting.net and eHose.net to streamline coupling and hose identification by application. eFitting was later integrated into the Gates eCrimp platform following strong field adoption. I also built a structured hydraulic planogram system that helps customers design cabinet layouts and inventory models more efficiently and consistently.
In addition to digital tools, I lead a hands-on hydraulic training program focused on coupling identification, hose construction, crimping, and application-based selling. The program is built for working professionals and emphasizes practical understanding over theory. Sessions are delivered nationally and designed to strengthen both technical confidence and commercial performance.
I regularly contribute to product launches, technical field guides, and application-based sales strategy initiatives. My published work in Machine Design and Power & Motion focuses on hydraulic conveyance, hose sizing, and real-world application best practices.
I hold SAFE certification, PMx Level 1 project management certification, and am currently pursuing IFPS Hydraulic Specialist certification.
I’m always open to conversations around hydraulic applications, technical sales strategy, and practical growth initiatives within fluid power markets.
Who I am personally
I grew up in rural Texas and worked my way through college, earning a degree in Agribusiness Management from Tarleton State University. That background shaped both my work ethic and my interest in mechanical systems.
Outside of work, I enjoy restoring and rebuilding diesel and small-engine equipment, particularly older agricultural machinery. I’m drawn to mechanical systems that require hands-on problem solving and practical understanding.
I also manage a small backyard apiary and enjoy teaching my sons about land stewardship and equipment maintenance. My family and I spend time exploring national parks and backpacking whenever possible.
I value craftsmanship, mechanical understanding, and continuous learning; both professionally and personally.
I’m always open to new connections, technical conversations, and collaborative opportunities.
